So, I guess by now you're just dying to see some pictures of our honeymoon, right?
David and I stayed in Beaver Creek, Colorado the week after our wedding and had the best time. It was wonderful to get away from the heat (112 today, people), relax, and make tons of fun memories. Although we stayed in BC, we traveled to Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail, Denver, Idaho Springs, Frisco, Dillon, Copper Mountain, and probably other places I am just not thinking of right now.
I'll hit some of the highlights for us...
white-water rafting...
and hot chocolate after white-water rafting... we were chilled to the bone!
mt. evans... the highest paved road in North America
David playing golf...
probably hands-down, THE coolest thing I've ever done. It has kind of been on my bucket list (you know the one that's in my head but I can never think to remember to write it down?) and David totally surprised me... what a wonderful husband :)
a lovely evening in Beaver Creek...
Biking the Vail pass through Copper Mountain, Friso, and Dillon
and finally, a nine mile drive in a rental car down a dirt road filled with numerous potholes..... led us to a beautiful lake and easy, but fulfilling hike in Piney Lake Ranch
It was a wonderful trip that we will cherish forever. I thoroughly enjoyed every.single.second. I spent with David and we are both dying to go back (mostly to escape from this heat!!!!)
I hope you enjoyed looking at some of our pictures. Self-timer was our BFF last week!

Aw, love seeing your Colorado honeymoon pics! What a fun time :) I'm from CO and have always associated hot air balloons with the area, it's on my bucket list of things I want to do. My dad would get me up early in the morning when I was a kid to see them and sometimes we'd even get in the car and follow one.
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is my favorite! Thanks for sharing :)
