8.5"x12.5" of heat resistant fabric
8.5"x12.5" fusible fleece
8.5"x 12.5" cute fabric
ONE 1"xWOF (width of fabric) strip (I pictured 3, but ya don't need that many:))
fuse the fleece to the wrong side of cute designer fabric & sandwich it in between that and the wrong side of the heat resistant fabric.
pin it A LOT. even if you don't normally pin. DO IT.

add your binding using the 1" strip.
heather bailey does a fantastic job of explaining how to add the binding //HERE//. Just remember, it doesn't have to be perfect & using bias tape works WONDERFULLY!

fold it in half & topstitch along 2 of the three open edges.
ta-da!
