Last weekend when I was in Birmingham, we went thrifting. Boy was it fun!
The flea market we went to was in an old Wal Mart building and was jam-packed with old goodies. I picked up a couple of things (an industrial paper-sorter & a large aqua mason jar to compliment the small one I already own) but I really just enjoyed spending the afternoon gawking and taking photos. I hope you enjoy the treasures we found!

Oh my word! Fun! Wish we had places like that around here! I'm totally going thrifting this weekend!

ReplyDeleteI'm always confused when I see other people's thrifting photos & they look quaint & antique. The thrift stores around me? Just look dirty.
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful thrifting adventure in West Virginia recently! I didn't end up with anything, but it was such a fun shop. Oh, but we just bought a house and there is an old school stove similar to the one in your pic in the basement. I cannot wait to spruce it up!

ReplyDeleteThese pictures remind me of when we were on our honeymoon and we went to this "mall" that had a ton of fun finds like this! It was so fun to just walk around looking at old things, and we took a ton of pictures of stuff that we thought was neat. ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish thrifting looked like this for me. My idea of thrifting is one of those hole in the wall places with everything... ummm... not so pretty. I don't go antiqueing very often but its fun to look! Your snap shots are great though! Love!
