How Does it Sew?! :: The Abby Bag

Since I began sewing a few years ago, patterns scurrrrred me. It wasn't until I began my job at the locally owned fabric store that I work at that I was able to get up enough courage to sew something from a pattern.

SO, this Summer I have deemed the Summer of sewing patterns!

And guess what? I have some fun giveaways (with designers!!), guest posts, and other cool stuff lined up all about sewing patterns!

At the end of the Summer, I want to have a sew along with you all & I'd love your suggestions for what we should sew together! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll announce what the sew-along will be for and y'all can get started picking fabrics!!

Today's post is all about V & Co.'s Abby Bag.
When I first saw this pattern, I thought... "I have GOT to have that."
I thought the same thing about the fabric... so naturally, I put two and two together and came up with this ::

Vanessa's well-written pattern makes sewing this adorable bag simple & fun. If you are a beginning seamstress, I say go for this pattern. Its easy-peasy & a great starter piece.

It fits my computer, books, phone, etc. etc.
Basically, its huge!
