We were busy around the house doing projects here & there. Still loving it, but ready to be settled! I hear we won't be "settled" for a while ;)

i made a fun banner for work this week, wore a hat, and stuffed the HECK outta that gumdrop pillow.. we LOVE propping our feet up on this new ottoman!
I tried the Pioneer Woman's perfect iced coffee. I have to say, it was pretty perfect. (I used a paper towel to improvise (because who keeps cheesecloth lying around?!) and it worked perfectly!) Sunday afternoon I had a date with my kitchen aide mixer & made some cookies.

my girl, brittany sent me some happy mail. one day we will be besties living on the lake in East TX :) one day!
On my day off this week, I made pillows, pillows, and more pillows... yes, that entire shopping cart is full of poly-fill and pillow forms!
I love pizza, but after 10 days of no refrigerator, 2 night of Domino's.... we were ready for some real food!

We painted our interior pantry door yellow... it has made our kitchen so bright & cheery!

Drinking coffee in bed in the mornings is a rare thing, but oh so lovely.
