My name is Lindsay Whitehead and I officially started Unraveled Design back in 2010, primarily doing graphic design and photography. I've always loved positive quotes. As long as I can remember, I've had my favorites hung up in my personal spaces. After art school, my love of typography and color theory really blossomed. Sure enough, it all eventually morphed together. 

The quote illustrations began as a personal project for myself and because of Pinterest, my work went viral and now I can barely keep my studio stocked! Last summer I stopped taking in graphic design jobs and began to pursue my fine art full time. I also offer customized paintings of dogs. (You can see those on my flickr page). 

The best part of my job is inspiring people. I love getting messages from people and seeing where my art has found its home. I get notes from brides who use the quotes at their weddings, from new mothers who have decorated their nurseries, from people sending love letters overseas to their partners, from college graduates who need daily affirmation, from other artists seeking inspiration--those notes are the best part of my day. There is great power in positivity! I live in Austin, Texas. I have four miniature dachshunds who are with me every step of the way. I always have french music playing.
