Handmade at QuiltCon Part 2

The rest of the week I'm going to be sharing the handmade outfits I wore at QuiltCon. Hope you guys don't get sick of seeing my face all over here, but I absolutely loved how all of my outfits turned out, sooo I'm going to share them!

Here's the thing. Wearing handmade is hard sometimes. You don't want it to look handmade, but in a sense, there's no way around it (especially when you're wearing bright fabrics that other people have seen before). Its been a struggle for me since I began sewing clothes for myself. I'm always asking David, "Does this look like I made it?!" I have to say that recently (maybe the past 6 months) is the first time I've really felt confident in my handmade threads.

Pattern: Created by me. (actually working on making this a legit pattern. It will include 2 different styles and styling for both children AND adults!)
Fabric: Michael Miller Silk Road
Top: Forever 21 // Necklace: Caroline G. // Shoes: Target

Isn't this the CUTEST? This is one of my most favorite skirts I've ever made. The colors and design in the fabric is absolutely wonderful. I definitely feel comfortable wearing this handmade piece in my real life!

Still have a couple more days of handmade clothing left in the week!
