Seattle TODAY!

Y'all. I am so excited.

((if you're unaware of WHY I am so dang excited, READ THIS POST!))

If you're reading this Saturday morning, I am en-route to Seattle, WA. I'm meeting my mom & aunt there and on Sunday am going to the Puyallup Sewing & Stitchery Expo where I'll be auditioning in front of a LIVE AUDIENCE for the Sew it All Casting Call sponsored by Coats & Clark.

To say I am freaking out is quite an understatement.

I am 100% comfortable teaching classes of 5-7 students, answering questions, walking around helping with their projects. But demo-ing? For five minutes straight? I am a leeeetle nervous.

I've been prepping all week (well, I started when I found out..) for it. Practicing in front of David & in front of a camera, etc. I feel confident that I will be able to do the best that I can do, so now I just pray. Pray that I actually DO do the best that I can do!

I am SO EXCITED to meet the other bloggers participating, the host, Ellen March, and all the other folks that will be there. I am really and truly just pumped for the whole experience and if I win.. well, that will just be the icing on top of the cake!

When I applied for the show, I sent in THIS tutorial to demo. I have re-vamped it and this is the project I will be demo-ing in front of a live audience. I am SO excited about sharing my love for trendy DIY and sewing!

So, if you think about it on Sunday afternoon will you say a prayer for me to calm my nerves and that I do the best that I can do? K, thanks. You guys are seriously the best!
